in and out of love

I was waitin for a mate outside the pru on saturday night, and the band were sound checkin IAOOL NOT ONCE BUT ABOUT 5 TIMES AT LEAST. Was gettin well pumped it for it thinkin it would be in the setlist for sure.Surley they were considering it after 5 times i was ****in gutted they didnt play it. Seemed a little slower than the record but SAMBORA nailed the solo, did anyone else here it, only heard it once live pretty sure it was either donnington in 85 or on the slippery tour

Here the question is - the band was soundcheckin' IAOOL or the band with Jon....
I guess it doesn't sound enough country for Jon and they decided to play something with violin solo instead! Can you imagine IAOOL with violin? ;)

Haven't heard that song since the 7800 tour. Not one of my favorites and I'd be shocked if they actually played it live. I had a few fans tell me that they heard the soundcheck too and did hear that song played.

Ok...I waited for this song to be played since the first time I heard it on the disc. It is by far the best song on One Wild Night Live and I was actually talking to a friend what a killer sound it had with Richie and Jon sounding absolutely brilliant. Now, 20 years since it was last performed, they decide to bring what is one of the most awesome songs they have ever written back, and they will spoil it with a violin? Why? Ahh nevermind! If they played it I'd be damn happy anyway. (although, considering how jon sounds these days it might be slightly pathetic)

God, yes, please! Bring your MOTHER!

Edit: Devilsson, get some bootlegs from the Fahrenheit tour - Richie played a little solo before the song, which is IMO just awesome. I myself got the Japan Document bootleg - highly recommended, great versions all the way through. Too bad The Price Of Love isn't played...
