Hi guys,

Ive meaning to ask the question but always forgot. The HAND album has some good songs, but i think there is one song from this album that should of been there. It is a great song and it is one of my favorites. I even think it would have made other albums.

The song is called NOTHING.

What do you think of this song? (Detailed comments would be nice)

This has been discussed soooo many times in the past, but I for one absolutely love it.
I think it's the best post 2000-song recorded by the band. Dirty Little Secret is right up there too, and neither of them made the album.

Sigh.

I don't like it at all. There's hardly any song on HAND worse than Nothing.

Musically I like the song, but lyrically it's not great. This is probably why it didn't make the album.
God knows why Dirty Little Secret was left off though.:rolleyes:

I'm sure it would have fitted nicely on the 2nd half of HAND, with that being full of pop junk songs which sound more suited to an avril lavigne album anyway :/

but ther not too bad pop junk songs :P ther just not the songs i would be expectin or wantin to hear when i pick up a Bon Jovi album.... the only song ther i really dont like is I Wanna Be Loved...fuk knows why that is that! it kills the albums flow from the start!

It's a Jon song, which is why it's on the album. He's complaining about how he was treated by his mom when he was a kid. Poor Jon. Oh well, at least he lives, doesn't want to die and survives in the end.

Nothing is a great song IMO. I wanna be loved is great also!
The whole HAND album is excellent. It was BJ's swansong!

SO - enuff being positive!

The only songs on HAND (not counting the horrid duet version of Who Says') that I'd drop for Nothing are Wildflower and Complicated.
The rest are better than Nothing IMO.
