The setlists aren't THAT bad...

Everyone here's been bitching about the setlists, and I gotta admit they're not that good. But compared to the O2 gig's setlist (though the playing was awesome), they're heaven. I'm not saying that all these songs are great (though most of them are) they've got a few interesting ones each night at the Rock...

NIGHT 1: Just Older, Have a Nice Day, In These Arms, These Days (sung by Richie), Seat Next To You, Blaze Of Glory (Unplugged), Any Other Day (with Jam), Blood On Blood

NIGHT 2: Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars, These Days (sung by Richie), Bed Of Roses (Unplugged), Have a Nice Day, Radio Saved My Life Tonight, Raise Your Hands, Hallelujah

NIGHT 3: Blood On Blood, Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars, These Days (sung by Richie), Living In Sin, Right Side Of Wrong, Have a Nice Day, Radio Saved My Life Tonight

NIGHT 4: Raise Your Hands, Radio Saved My Life Tonight, Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars, These Days (sung by Richie), Bed Of Roses (accoustic), Last Man Standing, Have a Nice Day

NIGHT 5: Raise Your Hands, Story Of My Life, Bounce, Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars, These Days (sung by Richie), Joey, Last Man Standing, Have a Nice Day

NIGHT 6: Raise Your Hands, Just Older, Blood On Blood, Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars, These Days (sung by Richie), Last Man Standing, Have a Nice Day

NIGHT 7: Raise Your Hands, Story Of My Life, Radio Saved My Life Tonight, Complicated, Stranger In This Town (sung by Richie), Right Side Of Wrong, Last Man Standing, Have a Nice Day, Bells Of Freedom

NIGHT 8: Raise Your Hands, Just Older, These Days (sung by Richie), Last Man Standing, Have a Nice Day, Any Other Day (with jam)

NIGHT 9: The entire Lost Highway album, Raise Your Hands, Have a Nice Day, I'll Be There For You (sung by Jon)

NIGHT 10: Raise Your Hands, Story Of My Life, These Days (sung by Richie), Bed Of Roses (accoustic or not?), Have Nice Day, Twist and Shout, Treat Her Right

I have to say, they got increasingly worse and more repetitive, but there are a few really good songs in those 10 nights.

You sir, don't have a clue of what you're talking about. The fact that you are calling Captain Crash and Raise Your Hands interesting says enough really. Both songs have been staples for well over 5 years now, so what's really interesting about them?

And another thing; Bed Of Roses wasn't acoustic. It's the This Left Feels Right version of the song. Out of the 10 nights, only 2 nights were really special when it came to the setlist, namely night 3 and night 9. The other nights were predictable from start to finish, and contained no real gems besides Richie doing lead on These Days and Stranger In This

For 10 consecutive nights in the same venue, that (lack of) variation sucks IMO.

I know Captain Crash and Raise Your Hands have been staples for years, but neither of them were exactly hit singles. And I think the whole point of Bed Of Roses being from TLFR was that it was accoustic. Just because I like two live staples, would enjoy seeing them live, and think they're ****ing interesting it doesn't mean that I don't know what I'm talking about. Also, because I said an accoustic song's accoustic....whta are you talking about, man?

Sorry if I'm sounding pissed off, but I am abit, because I just tried to make a point that they're not utterly terrible and I automatically get someone having a go at me because I said Raise Your Hands and Cpt. Crash were interesting. Seeing as most of the other songs are hit singles, they are quite interesting...

No. Bed Of Roses from TLFR isn't acoustic. Bed Of Roses played on 2 guitars like Jon and Richie used to do before This Left Feels Right was released is an acoustic version. Jon going into the crowd and doing this pathetic version of Bed Of Roses and calling it acoustic because he can't do the original version anymore is just the This Left Feels Right Version. There's nothing acoustic about it.

Yes it does. Just because you enjoy hearing a song live doesn't mean that a set is special. I enjoy hearing Wanted Dead Or Alive live, but it doesn't make the set special either. A special song is a song that isn't played very often. Raise Your Hands is just as much a staple as Livin' On A Prayer is, which is why it's not special. It's so obvious.

No they're not. Just because a song wasn't a hit doesn't make it special. Shout was never released by the band either, isn't on any band album but I think we can all agree that the song isn't anything special either.

Ultimately, you won't win with Mr. Supersonic when you happen to just enjoy what the band delivers instead of stripping down and analyzing to death every song, set, note out of key, or repetitive phrase by Jon as much as he does. From now on you will have to accept that you know nothing about anything and that you are rather useless unlike himself. He will knock you down until you're afraid to voice your own opinion like so many before you.
However, there's no need to feel sorry for your opinion, he never does.

That made me smile :)

What would have been special was for them to play every song off every album over the 10 nights. I'm aware that would take some serious rehearsing but other bands have done it in the past. That would have been cool, and they could then have released it as a boxset.

You're right, it would have been fabulous. If they had been playing ten shows for nothing but FC members and diehards. Alas that wasn't the case.
