Thought you guys might find this interesting:

I'm on another message board which is mainly dedicated to pro wrestling.
Anyway, recently we've had a thread "Top Five Albums You're Listening To Right Now" and someone just posted this:

Quote:

1) Bon Jovi - New Jersey
I went and saw Bon Jovi live last week (one of the three acts I wanted to see before I die) and was absolutely blown away. The show was perhaps the best live show I've been to in my life, and I've seen Meat Loaf live! This was one of the albums that, for whatever reason, I hadn't yet owned. After picking it up, I'm dumbfounded as to why I didn't get it sooner. Fantastic album.
Now, I've talked alot of music with this guy, and he's no idiot or idol worshiper. Anyway, I'm trying to find out exactly which show he was at.
I believe it was a Toronto gig, but I'm not sure.

He loses 10 points off the bat for still watching pro wrestling.

And what exactly is wrong with that?

Can't be Toronto Brian as those gigs are next week. Maybe Montreal though. Very cool he had such good things to say about the show and record.

In the same vein - at one of the Newark shows I was sitting next to two guys who were absolutely blown away by the show. It was night 3 because I remember where I was sitting that night. When Jon started the a cappella beginning of Prayer I heard one of them say to the other "Just listen to that voice". It's a very different perspective than we fans who analyze everything to death.

Exactly. They don't have all that "past" baggage that we do, lol!

It's mediocre.
Sometimes they still pull out good stuff though.
