"These Days" Newark Night 10

I made a mistake - I downloaded "TD" with Richie on vox from one of the Prudential show disasters in October as I really love the song and wanted to know how Richie sounds on vocals.
Well - the song is not made for Richie but that's not too much of a problem (as JBJ can't sing it anymore sadly) .

The MAIN problem is that the song was

DESTROYED
SMASHED TO PIECES,
SLAUGHTERED
HACKED,
CUT INTO BITS

by the absolute annoying dumb feelingless violin solo replacing half of the guitar solo. It almost made me cry seeing one of my fave BJ songs been slaughtered to death.
If it was a coverband - well ok then. But not from the band who wrote it and performed it in a great manner before!

Damn that was the greatest musical shit I heard for ages!
I am afraid if anyone who has a ticket for an upcoming show listens to this bullcrap doesn't throw his/her ticket into the dustbin then all hope is lost. This is really sad sad sad and beyond expectations.

I promise to NEVER EVER download a single second from a BJ live show on their current "We destroy your memories" Tour 2007/2008.

Sad - have to watch London 1995 now.

What a mess. One of the greatest disasters in music is seeing BJ going downhill as fast as Slippery when wet was selling in 1986/1987. If they continue to do so they will join Warrant, Winger and Ratt on a "Rock will never stop " Tour.

... as support act. They are only a small shadow of their glorious past.

Please Please call it a day and retire NOW! The world doesn't need you to destroy your old classics.

If I type in giant moron letters, will that get my point across better to you?:

WE GET IT. YOU DON'T LIKE ANYTHING BON JOVI'S DONE THIS YEAR. YOU'RE POSTS HAVE BECOME AS OVERPLAYED AS "IT'S MY LIFE" IN 2000

But at least "IML" was played in a great way back then. Even that seems to be missing now.

You're belonging to those guys you payed for this right? Poor boy.....
I cannot see a single reason for paying money for this mess.
Would be the same if I payed money for my own execution.

As long as you guys keep praising this mess I can say that I hate it right ? Freedom of speech...

As you are only 19 and never ever saw a great BJ show I forgive you !

If you were there on the "nightmare night" (9/11) : Condolences to you!

.

No one forces you to spend money on this.

They already destroyed these with TLFR where I wouldn't go to a concert or something if they had toured.

If you don't like it, don't listen to it. It's that easy and how I handle the TLFR album. There are enough other CDs to listen to.

Very well said.

I find that whole post so ****ing disgusting. Can't the idiot stand some maturity, maybe a violin. Does a little rearrangement make you cry, then?

In case you didn't notice, in most versions Richie played a guitar solo at the end of the song, and his vocals have been superb. Very narrowminded of you.
