Can people be more original ?
 

Can people be more original when choosing their board names ? I am tired of seeing These Days as a board name, this must be one of the most over used JTer name choice... we might be known as These Days fan board, but this is getting stupid and confusing...

Yeah mines a bit poo, I just used my poker username which was just the 2 albums I had on the table in front of me!

Your avatar is cool; that's exactly what made me wonder, too.

I understand my love... its irritating, everytime you think: 'lets see what briliant input my husband has this time' when you find out its another thesedays.

I have pm'ed TheseDays a few time to trade login's as I think I should be the original TheseDays but untill today he's unwilling.

Anyway, I agree with my lovely wife, all usernames which includes 'thesedays', except mine should be deleted and 'thesedays' should be blocked for further regristration.

the first thing u see is someones user name... because there are so many these days u start reading and then at some point realise the post has been written by someone else.. it is confusing and annonying.

When we used to have to share the same avatars , it became very confusing also...people kept thinking I was writing a post then realised it wasnt my fairy avatar but someone elses...

Perhaps the mods should slim down the board and delete all those that havent posted or even visited at all , then it would be yours , these days has never posted or visited since 2003...

I don't feel similar user names are confusing and annoying, but I don't understand why there are so many of them. I mean; when I'd sign up and I would try 'Alex', it would give an error, telling me that the user name is already in use by another person. Why on earth would I want to use 'Alex1', 'Alex1976', 'Alex2008', '**~~Alex~~**' or 'Alex_is_hot' (ok, I might use the last one :)) instead??? Why not create a whole different name?
