Twickenham 27th June - On stage Tickets
People
My wife bought me the ultimate present for xmas and that was some on stage tickets for Bonjovi at twickenham. Does anyone have any experience of having used one of them before. All i know is that i go on stage for 3 songs with a gang of other lucky fans, i assume standing on side of stage and get hopefully a high 5 of Jon. Do you guys know how it all works, - i would appreciate your comments. Keep the faith!!! |
A word of forewarning from what other people have put on here before who have had on-stage tickets:
Being a guy, just hope the security peeps aren't complete dicks as they often insist that it's 'only females' allowed especially during particular sections of the gig where ballads are played. Apparently this is Jon's rule but how much truth to that there is, nobody really knows. Also, be prepared to miss a fair portion of the concert queuing to get on stage as they normally have you lined up about 2 or 3 songs before your crowd is due to go up. These are reasons I would never choose to do it but I wish you the best of luck and hope you have a blast! I'll be there in the GC pit on the Friday too so be sure to wave when you're on stage! :D |

You just had to go and burst his bubble didn't you?! If any of that is actually true, I doubt it it is the case all the time. Well maybe the queue thing is, but thats pretty unavoidable. I would gladly have one of these tickets! andi |

It's not like that all the time though, and I think that someone who has actually bought tickets for something like this will probably get top priority. Bubble fixed? :) Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
I'd heard some of those things from previous tours, but the packages werent sold back then so it should be a clean slate which could mean even a fat bastard like me could get up there if I had paid the spondoolicks!
I'm pretty sure he will have a great time, and the view from the stage at Twickenham will be amazing. You do tend to miss a few songs queuing, but other than that it should be brilliant and I wish I was doing it! Enjoy it! |
I wouldn't want to go onstage as you just miss too much of the damn show - and anyway, I don't wanna' dance with Jon (my wife, on the other hand, probably will...but hey ho...lol)
I'll be in GA so doubt I'll see anyone. |
When I got onstage, I was in a female only group, and 2 guys did get turned away, but the previous groups that night were mixed. They can make whatever rules they want I guess when they're giving it away for nothing, but I'm 100% certain that now people are paying for it, all those that paid have no problems getting up there.

if you are the first group on there then it is ace. i won a competition and was on stage for the first 3 songs at Southampton in 2006. had a great time, didn't miss any songs from queuing unless you count nickleback (Which i do not lol)...i am female so the guy thing i can't say much on, except there were a couple of guys in the group i was up there with. overall i enjoyed it, i wouldn't personally pay for the privilidge but thats easy for me to say after the fact.
here's one of my pictures: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...tos/mine11.jpg and i would say it was worth it for this view: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ampton0028.jpg anyone spot themselves? ;) |

Some fans told me that in 2006, Jon was saving most of his energy for the MK shows. Others have told me that the show (in Southampton) was AWESOME :) |
