March 13th Toronto - a happy discovery
 

I just thought I would share my good fortune (the total extent of which is yet to be determined)....tonight when I cracked open my laptop to start doing some work I saw that there was an e-mail from the owner of my company.

Lo and behold - he has been given 2 tickets to the March 13th show and he has no use for them. I'll give everyone 3 guesses to figure out who's getting the tickets.


Now I just need to wait for them to arrive in hand so I can determine where the seats are - I hope that I won't need to upgrade (I'm a bloddy ticket snob these days) but it's certainly a nice perk to have a boss hook me up with free Jovi tickets.


I know the relevance to the forum is marginal at best - but I just had to share my good fortune.


And now my dilemma - I always go solo to the shows because I hate bringing along part-time fans (they negatively affect my enjoyment). There's a chance that there may be an extra ticket on the block - and noting what I paid I'll be happy to pass it off in exchange for a few beers.

I'll re-post if the ticket will be available.

Congats on the free tickets!!! I won tickets to the Melbourne show last week (after not being able to buy any). Its always so much better when you get something for free heheh

I know what you mean about going to shows with part time fans, you feel like they wont be having a good time as they don't know all the songs and dont appreciate certain things.

WOW!! born_to_run.....I seriously think you need to find some sort of hobby or girlfriend or job....as far as I can see you seem to spend countless hours combing this board and replying to every single thread without supplying the world with anything close to wit or wisdom (I assume that you seriously lack both).

I can't stand Britney Spears (among many others)....but I hardly spend even a moment of my time posting on her fan boards, or anyone elses for that matter.

I really can see no psychologically healthy argument for your behaviour - I seriously think you need to get some treatment.

At the very least - do yourself a favour and find some way of getting your sorry ass laid....otherwise - just keep to yourself and let fans be fans.

After months of analyzing your posting behaviour - this is the only logical conclusion that I have been able to come to. I seriously hope that one day you get the help that you critically need. All the best.

Well there is one difference between Britney and BJ: Britney was always shit and I was no fan, BJ have become shit in 2007 (at the latest). I still enjoy their records of their prime - but they are the perfect example of a band who missed the point to quit. They are awful now on record AND live. And that is very sad!!!

Well in light of this perhaps you should consider starting a community revolving around the era that you hold so near and dear. It would surely be more constructive than spending time slagging off anyone and everyone on this board.....and who knows, maybe you'll find a few friends with the same extremist thinking as yourself. It would certainly save us having to read through your unencumbered negativity and anabashed desire to reply to all threads big and small.


Just a thought.
