what is that cd?
 

Hi!
I've just come back from a music store, where I found Bon Jovi cd - its name was 'Bon Jovi - A little Bit Of Soul 1992' with Jon on the cover. The songs on the cd were recorded live in 1992. But I couldn't find a company's name that produced it. But I know that the shop I went to is one of the biggest music shops here so I don't think they would sell illegal cds. Does anybody know what is this album?

I didn't check it but I don't think so. The first song was 'With a little help from my friends' and one song was 'It's My life/........?....out of this place' - or sth like that

Sounds like it's recorded from the MTV show "An Evening with Bon Jovi" They played those songs then. And no, the It's My Life song they play is by The Animals (If I remember right) You should get the entire video, it's amazing

anyway, I think that's where it's from cause I don't think they played that anywhere else (did they?)

Yes, I didn't mean It's My Life from Crush. You think it's video on cd? Anyway, why isn't it titled 'Evening with Bon Jovi' (if it's that)?

How do you know? Did you listen to it? I can say for certain that it is not It's My Life from Crush without even listening to it. The fact that it is coupled with We Gotta Get Out Of This place suggests straight away that it is the Animals version.

I said I knew it wasn't It's My Life form Crush, I wrote it was medley It's My life/We Gotta Get Out Of This place. Besides, I wrote it was from 1992.

Ok, before this goes on and on and on.

The CD is a recording of the audio from An Evening With Bon Jovi, the video. Yes it's "illegal." It doesn't mean it's not good. Get the video if you can. There are a bunch of CDs out there of this show under different names. If you can't get the video, get the CD, I'm sure you'll enjoy it and probably find that "illegal CDs" are often pretty damn good when you get an education about them. You'll also find that "One Wild Night-Live" did a sh** job of capturing the band's live sound when you discover how much better they can be.
