Have Bon Jovi ever made this many mistakes?
Jon might forget the odd line and Richie break the odd string but these guys take the biscuit for f@*king up.
U2, comedy gold |
Watch the Zepp show from 2002 for the Bounce promo and you'll see a MASSIVE number of mistakes in it. The highlights for me were Hugh starting KTF in the wrong key and Richie starting the Blood on Blood solo in the wrong key too. :)
I've never seen such a dire performance from them - they looked completely out of it. |
Isn't there a hilartious boot out there where Jons shouts ''2,3,4!!'' and the band start playing something completely different while Richie bursts into the ''nah nah nahs'' for BTBMB?
Those U2 ones where funny. Love in ''All i want is you'' at the end when Bono gets splashed -- ''All I want is ****ing you, man'!''' pointing at the guy. Theres a good clip where Bonos shoes laces become untied during ''I will follow'' and he changes the lyrics to something about shoes, and it still sounds great. andi |

Richie did the same thing at one of the Christmas shows at Continental in 2005. He screwed up the beginning of Bounce so badly that he apologised to the audience after the song.

we r all human, but I dont think BJ make that many mistakes...
|
I like the one where Jon, durring Bed of Roses(in Phili I think) starts singing the 1st verse again, the realizes it, stops and says something like: "atleast you know we are actually singing this shit up here"
|
There's the Wanted, where Richie doesn't get the electric ready for the solo, and the song just stops, then picks up, after a bit of banter, with 'LETS RIDE!!'
And of course JBJ flubbing the lyrics of Dry County almost every time on the HAND tour |
Jon stuffs up the lyrics on Lay Your Hands On Me on the Live from London vid. Instead of "show me how to get out off the ground now" he starts singing the part from the second verse.

In the show from Yokohama 1996 which was aired on TV, there are two funny mistakes: In "Keep The Faith", after the solo, Richie starts his high notes in a wrong key which makes Jon looking confused over to Richie's side.
Later in "My Guitar lies bleeding in my arms" there's the part after the second chorus where they should go into that heavy riff which leads to the solo, but instead the band calms down like they do after the first chorus - only Jon hammers the riff on his acoustic. Sounds funny. But they manage it by kicking into that riff a bit later so it doesn't sound any bad, just not how it was intended to be. I compared it to one of the other Yokohama shows, where they play it like on the record. I always liked this part and how they saved it. On the Bounce-Gig from Shepherd's Bush the change from "Cpt. Crash" into "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" sounds a bit messed up, and on a bootleg from 1993 (Milton Keynes I think) Tico messes up the intro of "Wild In The Streets" a bit. Otherwise I don't know much mistakes from them. |
