Bon Jovi Ruling The Australian Top 100 Album Charts :)
#2 Lost Highway
#28 Slippery When Wet #39 Keep The Faith #41 New Jersey #57 Cross Road #58 These Days #59 Bon Jovi #66 7800 Fahrenheit http://www.news.com.au/entertainment...7-7484,00.html http://www.ariacharts.com.au/pages/c...asp?chart=1G50  |
guess the shows paid off.

In the old days - wasn't that the whole point of touring an album?
These days - the band (any band) doesn't make enough money from album sales but touring makes them a pile. The record company is the one benefitting here though. |
I'd be willing to bet anything that a band like Bon Jovi is making a pretty penny from album sales aswell.

Wow! Shows what a tour can do. Imagine if they did more than 4 shows. I saw that LH was at #21 last week (the tour edition), quite a climb. Remember LH debuted and peaked initially at #5 here.

Awesome chart resurgence...
Who would have thought SWW could show up so high in the charts!!! Hopefully this gets back to the band and they will realize they actually have fans here who wanna see them play more often then once every 10 years!! Steve |

Can I say that this is all slightly misleading. Lost Highway is selling for the regular price of $20, where all of the other CD's mentioned are on sale for only $9.99 each.
Notice the absence of Crush, Bounce and Hand? This is because they are all $25 plus. Still, if it gets more people into it, so much the better................... |
Nice to see the aussies enjoyed the shows!
