Bon Jovi: In Performance

I know this is old news, but I've recently come across a DVD titled Bon Jovi: In Performance. While I know this isn't an official release, I was wondering if it featured full length songs and not just clips inbetween interviews. As well, how is the quality of the audio/video?

Bon Jovi: In Performance Bon Jovi: In Performance
Thanks!

I'm not familiar with it so I can't help you. BUT - one thing I have noticed lately is the vast number of bootlegs on Amazon. I was checking out a Led Zeppelin DVD earlier today and I couldn't believe the number of bootlegs for SALE.

Why the **** isn't the RIAA going after Amazon to remove them? Am I missing something important here? They sure are going after individuals.

This is the US Amazon site that I'm referring to.

(Sorry - not trying to hijack your thread - it just sparked the question)

I was thinking the same thing Kathleen, how are they getting away with this... there is so many bootlegs available its getting difficult to tell what is official !

I read awhile back that the reason these companies get away with these unofficial dvd/cd's is because they license all the material from old radio and tv broadcasts, thus bypassing the band and record company.

Could be wrong though.

that's true, if correct all those 'bootlegs' are all in some way a recording for some kind of media (tv, radio and whatever). If Bon Jovi performs on some talkshow those rights are with the network not with BJ or management.

LOL, I suppose I did put it kinda plainly (:p)

But I bought this thinking that it might be some tv gig or something (In Peformance generally means that the band will be playing) but there's only short clips of the songs set to loads of people who take the piss outta Jovi then round off the programme by saying they're brilliant :P

Nah, not really. It's some music journalists talking about Jovi, gradually telling their story (well, of the 80s period, I think, I haven't watched it in ages). But it's totally unauthorised, so I don't think they have any interviews with the band or anybody. And they have no full songs.
