Your wish has been granted ;) :) Born_To_Run has received a ban from the Admin and Mod Team.

Does JT have a warning system ? Im wondering if it might be helpful to put a warning system in order, ie three warnings and your out...or suspended for a time. I have this on my board and it works quite well.

(Perhaps this could be started from now as I dont want my husband banned :D )

As I dont see how from banning someones avatar etc will prevent them from still misusing the board. One of this boards rules is no name calling/attacking others and Born has clearly done this, so I thought at least a suspension would occur by now if he has had enough warnings.

Im not bothered by his I hate LH posts as I just ignore them, we are all entitled to our own opinion... but name calling/attacking other forum members is not appropriate.

Hey Dawn,

Please be aware that a warning system has been set-up on JT for a long time now (You are a good girl, so never been given a warning or infraction :p). BTR was given more warnings than anyone on this forum, therefore a banning option is now set-up for troublesome users. The mod-team are now able to 'custom warn' users meaning that if they continue to spam/give out abuse etc then they will receive a permanent/temporary ban. This ban can be reversed by Admin/Mod-team should the user prove he/she is worthy to be trusted again.

As BTR has proved that he cannot be trusted after dozens of warnings, we have had to take action. It's not as though it wasn't coming, as I'm sure you will agree. The poll started by Thierry in this Forum, not so long ago, showed the large majority of this forum wanted this user off the boards. It was best for all concerned that normality is returned to JoviTalk. :)

Can't beleive it took so long to be frank, but yay :)

Does it ban just the account or the IP too?

I'm actually surpsired it took so long for him to be banned.
