hahaha I didn't see that first!

Finally, a follow up to his infamous Robbie and Oasis comment and an example yet again of the UK press taking things out of context!
I liked this interview alot, alot of stuff I havn't heard him cover before. andi |
I enjoyed Reading that a lot

Aloha !
I like this idea of him with saying that a single on iTunes should have a b-side. It's really what I dislike about the entire iTunes stuff. Nowadays, there are no 16 year old kids that say "I like the new Velvet Revolver album". He's spot on with the track 7 thing. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
Should we now discuss "track 7" off each album? :)

It's a good point that they just go and buy the released singles that might get airplay and nothing else.
Imagine if we'd only got to hear Jovi's hits, which have rarely been the best songs off each album. No Blood On Blood, or Wild Is The Wind, or As My Guitar or anything like that. Jeez - that's a cold thought! No wonder the music industry's going to be in trouble if that happens... Aren't Track 7's generally pretty good though? It's that midway through an album where you need something...lol |
First interview I've read in ages so a lot was new to me - thanks for posting that.
The 'Track 7' bit is spot on, and just to see what that means to Bon Jovi albums... Burning For Love The Hardest Part Is The Night Without Love Wild Is The Wind Dry County My Guitar Lies Bleeding in My Arms Mystery Train Hook Me Up Wildflower Seat Next To You Release that as an album and most people wouldn't have a clue it was Bon Jovi but it's an interesting mix of tracks, with a couple of obvious stand out songs. |
