BOUNCE - under-rated
 

I listened to Bounce today on my ipod on the train into work.

I have to say that its superb album (right side or wrong aside).

anyone here thinks that its underrated? i think it could be the bext album since these days? what do you lot think?????

I like it, although it's ordered badly.

No really amazement on it though. It's after NJ, TD, KTF, and SWW in my list.

Undivided, every day, the distance, hook me up, love me back to life & bounce – are great thumping tunes
Joey is springsteen-esque.
You had me from hello and these arms are open all night are better ballads than anything slow on crush
Imo the only dire songs are right side of wrong and all about lovin you – which is a dire ballad.

The first 6 I listed are classic Jovi

Joey is a rip off of Levon from Elton John, which Jon covered once.

The Distance is definitely in my top 10 Jovi songs, and I actually Right Side Of Wrong.

Love Me Back To Life, Hook Me Up, Everyday, Undivided and Love Me Back To life are also decent songs.

I seem to be the only person who doesn't rate Bounce that much at all.

The rest are kinda' hum-drum songs.

I definitely don't think it's in the same category as These Days, KTF, NJ or SWW, and I think HAND ourtlcasses it as well.

But I'd still listen to that over an album by most other artists (with the exception of a few)

I don't mind Bounce.

The rockers are good but the ballads suck very badly.

The guitar solos are mostly crap but the one on Right Side Of Wrong's good and I like the album's backing vocals.

It's a kinda half and half album...

Its probably my worst... a few good songs on it.... Everyday, The Distance, Undivided and Bounce, but thats it.
Too many ballads on it i think, and there shouldn't be that many from a band like Bon Jovi.

I've been enjoying it in the last 6 months more than ever before and as much as I like it it's nowhere the brilliance of SWW, NJ and KTF or me.

I really like Bounce, not a masterpiece, but still listenable.

Bounce could have been very good, some of the rockier B sides should have replaced the dull cheesy ballads.

As it is it's pretty poor.
