Bon Jovi will broadcast Dutch football match during concert
http://www.nu.nl/news/1453098/2101/B...wedstrijd.html
So on the biggest screen on stage they will show the Dutch football match against France. Otherwise it would never sell I geuss LOL, I can only imagine what will happen during the gig, who will focus on what. I will be looking it in my pub tho. |
Whaaaat????
What a way to detract from a concert - geeze. Maybe announce the score but a complete broadcast? Shaking my head in wonder here. |
Aloha !
I think that as soon as the game is over, the show will start and most of it will be back to normal within 15 minutes. I don't think anyone's got a problem with it. It could be fun. :) Edit: One thing I didn't think about though; many people will be upset because they'll be home by 3 o' clock at night. :| Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
i was thinking more of the less drinking time!!! nevermind, i'm sure somwhere will be open late for beer!

Next to that, there is a curfew at the Arena, always been, I cannot imagine that be extended just for this on-off thing. They should've booked Eindhoven, like Meeuwis, no curfew there. |
Aloha !
No, it's not at the same time. First the game, then the gig. It's supposed to end at 00:30. 538 make fun of everything all the time, but don't know anything when it comes down to it. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |

It sounds somewhat similar to what U2 did when they played Slane in '01.

They show soccer before BJ in Amsterdam
Probably because of the lack of ticket sale they want to show the soccer game Netherlands against France on a screen before Bon Jovi hit the stage in Amsterdam. BJ won't play before 10.30 pm though and will play until 0.30 am.
I'm really p.. about this. I didn't pay to watch a stupid soccer game about that I couldn't care less. |
