Half way Thru the Tour....what do you think???

What are you thoughts on the tour so far??? If you have shows to come are you looking forward to them more or less than when you bought tickets???

I'm mixed on it really. Glad that they are changing the sets every night but i'm less than impressed with some songs that have made comebacks. Ie I got the girl, misunderstood, Right side of wrong. complicated, I dont wanna hear at all. Same goes for open all night, of all the album sos we could have got and we get that shite!!!

Pleased that the boxset hasnt been forgotton, hopefully we'll hear some more songs showcased. Throw in a couple of surprises from These days and Keep the faith, il be well happy :)

Its good that they are changing the sets from time to time, its a shame they're changing songs with not very good ones.

I've been looking forward to the shows since I got the tickets and am still looking forward now...

I'm so looking forward to the shows, and now wish I'd booked tickets to more than just 2.

I actually think I Got The Girl's an okay song. I hated it until they played it at Hyde Park, but then it was good fun.

Damned making an appearance...wow! And if I get to hear anything else different from These Days, I'll be more than happy.

I also love Right Side Of Wrong, although I know I'm one of the few who do, and I'd love to hear that live.

And to be honest, even though Open All Night is my least favourite Jovi song ever, I'd still actually appreciate hearing it live as sometimes that gives a song a different perspective (for instance, I never thought much to Story Of My Life but I love hearing it live, and I Got The Girl as I mentioned earlier)

The songs I don't care about so much are the ones from the box set played so far, Bounce, Have A Nice Day (seems to be the most over-rated song from that album).

US setlists are always different from Europe set lists (that's why I like to go to a few Europe shows every tour). I've been to 22 shows on the LH tour so far and loved them. :D Stand out shows for me were Pru #9, Vancouver #2, Philly #2, Mohegan #1, Pittsburgh (3/15) and Greensboro. I actually like the post 2000 songs that many don't like so I'm happy with the set lists. I'd love more from TD and really, really, hope This Ain't A Love Song makes an appearance this tour.

How many HAND shows did you attend?

Just Curious.....

I still think that the sets in Europe will look different so it's hard to say. But I really hope they will mix things up, 'cause if I get sort of the standard set that they've been playing now, I will be disappointed indeed. And I will never rest my case about the encores, they simply suck big time.

Otherwise, the band seems to be in good shape. Richie looks and sounds a lot better than on the HAND-tour, and Jonny's voice is okay as well. I do have a problem with Lorenza and Bobby but I guess you can't have it all. I'm pretty sure that the (so far) four shows I'm going to are going to be a blast. They usually are.

I think the setlists have been better this year than they have been for a long time.
More suprises, i mean damned last night, wow, really didn't expect that.
4th of July and Garageland aswell, excellent.
Yeah, there are a few that i would sooner not be there, but with most of the suprises this tour, there will be some you don't want to hear.

I just can't wait till i go. I've got a really good feeling about this tour.

I've seen the band a couple of times every tour they've done this decade. I've heard songs like Born To Be My Baby, Sleep When I'm Dead, Raise Your Hands, Runaway and Captain Crash at almost every show. I'm not that thrilled over hearing these songs again. No wonder the ticket sales over here are disappointing, because, like it or not, people have seen it all before. One Damned or one Garageland a show is not going to make the casuals come back and see them again. However, throwing in songs like Hey God, I Believe, Wild Is The Wind and One Wild Night certainly would. It's time for some major changes in the core of the setlist. A "revolution" if you will. Sure, they have to play the biggest hits and some of the new stuff, but the ones mentioned above should really be replaced. As of now, it's the same boring setlist as previous tours, with the one change that Jon is playing one gem a night. Maybe that's good enough for you, it isn't good enough for me.

Hell, I've even heard I Got The Girl four or five times (I think). So you can imagine my excitement now that they're bringing out that "rarity" again.
