quite an unusual and perhaps nerdy question but what the hell. is he still doing those screams and shots like the ones he used to do before keep the faith's solo ? any video of it ? what's his best singing moment of this tour to you people ? cheers

ever so slightly off topic but when did richie start doing the scream on ill be there for you?!

after the rehearsals incident

it was all the screaming that messed his voice up in the first place!

1, its not singing
2, it was REALLY bad for his vocal cords, when u have to inject painkillers, its time to relax the voice!

trying to force the notes isnt good for you, to bad jon didnt learn that in time!! i leanred it afte the first few weeks of singing lessons!

That's bullshit.

Jon messed up his vocal chords because of not using his voice properly, and needing to sing night after night after night. Not because the screams, and certainly not because of the screams he used to do in In These Arms and Keep The Faith.

Jon's voice isn't that shit nowadays because of what he did back in the eighties. People who believe that just ignore the facts that he had a brilliant voice in the nineties.

screaming the notes isnt singing, thats what Jon did through the 80s and 90s, he forced his voice to meet the demanding notes of thier songs. Singing properly means you dont force your voice. it just isnt good for it at all. Im not saying he didnt have a good voice in the 90s, he did, put he couldnt hit the notes he did in the 80s, he forced himself to during the 90s, now we have his lower vocal ability in the 00s.

Singing is about tone, not the the note you can sing, to that degree Jon is still a good singer, good tone in his voice, he loses it as he goes higher.

if i want to hit the top C for wanted, ill put my vocal cord in tilt and breath properly to hit it, not scream at the top of my voice using every inche of breathe it hit it, which is what Jon did, which messed up his voice!

name me the last song of Bon Jovis to go over a high A? i dont recall any in Crush, Bounce, HAND, LH, TLFR, Back in the 90s most thier songs were in that range, keep the faith, blaze, ITA, BOR, Always etc etc etc
