Final LH Tour Dates - July 14 & 15 - MSG in NYC
 

According to reports on Backstage, AMEX emails and WPLJ are announcing that the final shows of the Lost Highway Tour will be at Madison Square Garden on July 14 & 15. The AMEX pre-sale begins on 4/14 (http://www.ticketmaster.com/promo/4r...OS_AMEX_BJ_GCE), and I think they said the public sale begins on 4/21.

I really don't get why they're not playing at Giants. Very strange. And why the hell on a Monday and Tuesday night? The end of the tour is something they know people come from all over to see. I don't have any more time to take off from work. Oh well - No Bon Jovi this summer for me.

As Jon said in the chat "multiple" shows... so mon & tues could be the 1st in a long stint at Madison Square...

I'm betting there will be a 3rd MSG show. :D

They did the same thing with Giants to end the HAND tour. They announced two dates (Tues and Wed I think) then a week later announced the Saturday night date to end the tour. The same thing will probably happen here.

No matter how many shows they do this time I will be there at every single show.

I love that we in the fan club are always the last to hear the dates and the news. It's on the freaking radio and my husband got an e-mail from American Express - but nothing official from the fanclub or the official site. :roll:

LOL, yet another reason why I won't be joining backstage any time soon.

Anyway, think they're gonna end the tour in MSG or will they play Giants or something?

Nah - I'm afraid no Giants this summer. At first I thought it was due to the horrible condition that Giants is in. But they cancelled out of their stadium show (or shows) in Boston too. Therefore I can only assume that they feel that they cannot sell enough tickets. I'm sure they know that Lost Highway is not particularly a local favorite. And the 10 nights in Newark very recently may have had an impact on local dates too - though I doubt that would have affected the Boston shows.

Oh well, I wouldn'tve been able to be go over to the States to see it anyway. But it must be abit of a bummer to Boston and to a lesser exstent NJ based fans.

Still, MSG's going out in style isn't it :p
