In the encore, the always welcome pairing of "Meeting Across the River" into "Jungeland" was a reprise from the last show in California. The surprise came a couple songs later, when Bruce brought out a special guest. With Bon Jovi set to play this very venue on Monday night, Jon got quite a warm-up, taking the first verse of "Glory Days" and trading vocals with Bruce throughout the rest of the song. Springsteen called it "a double shot of Jersey," and JBJ followed up by telling the crowd, "You're in trouble!" It's not likely that other Springsteen audiences will be in similar hot water; checking out Bon Jovi's itinerary, it looks like their paths won't cross again on this tour

Recently, I was thinking whether there's a chance this tour they'd show up together anywhere.
Damn, "Meeting Across the River" and "Jungeland" plus Jon Bon Jovi joining in later on, this'd be a dream come true. I also wouldn't mind the electric version of "The Ghost of Tom Joad" (done twice with Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello) in two months time when I go see The Boss & Company. Woohoo. Can't wait.

I hope Jon didn't do the 'I'm in awe' thing and stand dead still like a wildlife photographer.

They have sung together many times before and have even done shows together. I would love to see a clip of this though.

And I hope that when I get old I don't sit around thinkin' about it, but I probably will!
