Which song should go?

Aloha !

Many debates have taken place of what songs are or should be the core of a Bon Jovi setlist. When looking at the setlists from 2000 onwards now, this is the list of songs they've been playing to death for about every show ever since that particular song was released. Now it's open to debate if this should be the core of the set, but that's not the point of this topic (yet). :)

A few songs have been dropped a few times, most notable Keep The Faith during the Bounce and Have A Nice Day Tours but most shows have had all these songs in them. Still, some songs of which a lot thought they'd never be out of the set have been dropped. Lay Your Hands On Me used to be in this list, as were Runaway and Blood On Blood.

Which song should be dropped for a few tours now? Which of these songs is so overplayed that it's no longer fun to listen to?

Well there are some songs the band can't drop . Prayer and Wanted for example ,it would almost be a crime to see bon jovi and them not play them songs :p i personally think they could drop i'll sleep when i'm dead ( i like it but it's never been one of my favourites) and if there gonna keep playing the TLFR version of bed of roses i'd drop that too

The same could be said about Always. We've gotten used to the fact that they ignore it, yet when looking at the success it had it should be in there. It's right up there with Prayer and It's My Life as their biggest single ever.

Yea, some songs even if I wouldn't miss them, just will never go. From a new interview with David:

Q: On this tour, what will fans get – a lot from the "Lost Highway" album? The big hits? Some old stuff you haven't done for a while?

A: Well, we're also fans, so if I go see Paul McCartney, and he doesn't do "Let It Be," I'm (ticked) off. I want to see that. I want to see "Hey Jude." So we take a step back and say, you have to do "Wanted …," you have to do "Prayer."

And then we try to do some for ourselves – we have such a handful of songs that we can throw an obscure one in – the bench is deep.

It's My Life. It's shit live, and overplayed. Bad Medicine could be dropped as well.

Always should be played, even if it is TLFR, or a tuned down version, or whatever.

This, I agree with. I'd settle for the TLFR version if need be.

I voted for Sleep When I'm Dead.

Where's the option for Raise Your Hands?

I could only fill 10 slots and they've started to drop Raise Your Hands every now and then on this tour so I thought that Raise Your Hands would be the most logical choice to leave out.

Sleep.
Though the song I'd be happiest if they dropped for an extended bit is Runaway.

Born to Be My Baby.

Sleep is a great song, and it's good live, I see no reason why it should be left out. I know ot's always played, but if it ain't broke, fix something else.
