richie-undiscovered soul live

I reckon the king of swing should play something of U/S for a change instead of stranger in this town all the time. Would love to hear him sing the title track, or who i am, falling from graceland, infact any track i would be well chuffed, its a highly underated album and one that never gets mentioned on her. What does everyone think?

Wouldn't go over well live. The crowd goes flat enough when he players Stranger and that's his most well-known song.

hmm yeah stranger seems to have stopped for now too. Maybe it will be back for europe personally id love if god was a woman or made in america they are classic songs. My favourite from Richie.

I'd love it personally but 80% of the crowd can't appreciate good music unless they can scream along to every word while heavily intoxicated.;)

Richie did Made in America and Fallen from Graceland from that album recently in New York for the Stand Up for a Cure concert. He also did It's My Life and Stranger. All songs were absolutely gorgeous and very welcome to hear as far as I was concerned.

Certainly Richie's part of the show was not considered a beer or bathroom break. As a matter of fact, when I bought tickets, it was Richie's part of the show I was most looking forward to.

That must've been the first time you bought tickets for the headliner just to see the support act. :p

Salaam Aleikum,

You're probably right. Though way back when, I bought Mamas and Papas tickets because I knew Jimmy Hendrix was on the bill. :D
