I agree, didn't Germany and Italy go down this very same route years ago ? and look where that got them!
As for Mccain all it says to me is that he cannot cope with doing more than one thing at a time and there for unfit to govern!

I find it very convienent when supporters of Bush/McCain/Palin play the media card. "Oh, the media's biased. You can't trust anyone in the media." So I suppose we can't get any info from regular sources then? Where do you all get yours? No matter what links are posted here, thats the only response I see.

Next week will be the 1 year kickoff until I end my life and get married. I have to sell my house and relocate to Delaware. Having "those" type of scumbags who don't work, sell drugs and kill police officers (yes another cop was killed here a couple days ago) are going to **** up my chances of making the money i would like to get for my house.

Anybody actually watching the debate tonight?

I watched the debate. It was very very good. The questions were fair and I personally can't say there was a clear "winner" of the two. Obama was strong in the beginning and McCain was strong in the end.

The media isn't biased? A few years back all you heard around here is how the American media is biased towards making America "look good" all the time. People were saying that you had to tune in to overseas news programs to get a clear picture regarding what is going on in the world. Do you honestly think this is any different? Hollywood is liberal, therefore the media is liberal. It really isn't all that hard to figure out.

Republicans and conservatives think the media is liberal. That's why the public thinks the media is liberal. MSNBC has swayed to the liberal side, while CNN finds itself balancing things out a little better. FOX news has swayed towards the conservative side. Not all Hollywood is liberal, but saying that the media is liberal because of Hollywood is crazy.
