Shouldve been a Single!
 

Ok, so we've got the least favourite singles thread, but how about those classic songs which shouldve been released as a single, but werent!? What would your picks be?

2. Blood On Blood
3. Raise Your Hands
4. We Got It Goin On
5. If I Was Your Mother
6. Without Love
7. Get Ready
8. Id Die For You

Also, Edge Of A Broken Heart shouldve been on SWW and released as a single from that album. Damn you Jon! lol :p

No way If I Was Your Mother should've been released as a single. No way. In fact all of your songs apart from Raise Your Hands and I'd Die For You would've worked as a single.

The only time Bon Jovi really missed the boat was when they didn't release Bounce as the first single for Bounce, or Undivided as a single in North America. At that time, both songs would've been massive hitsingles.

Just Older is one they should've released too.

I can understand that (im just bias cos I love those songs :p) but you really think Blood On Blood wouldnt have been a great single? I think it wouldve been a great single.

(I know there are some on each album that should have been that weren't and many on the box set that should have made the albums and didn't but I'm braindead right now and can't think. Plus at times during the years we didn't have a decent rock station that picked up here and played Jovi so I'd listen to just the albums and often not know what was released as a single. Plus I was busy having and raising a kid with health problems!)

Undivided, Wild in the Streets, Just Older, Get Ready.

I would be most unhappy if WGIGO was a single.:p

The only one I can think of is Just Older.
Bounce is ok, but it would have been a boring singlechoice. Too typical Jovi. Ok Older is very typical too, but it's better.
Undivided, neh it's the same Dm-Bb-F-C again, used way too much. And the lyrics doesn't fit for a single. It would have been as if they tried to make money/sucsess on 9/11. Great song, but not for a single.
Maybe Last Cigarette could have been cool?
Wild Is The Wind & Blood On Blood are great songs, but I don't see them as singles either. Blood On Blood is too long, to epic. It's a fan favourte, not a single ;)

Dry County is long and epic though. And it was made into a single (still over 5 mins long).

And I agree with Last Cigerette as well. I think that mightve made a good one too.
