Official May 28, 2008 HSH Nordbank Arena, Hamburg thread

Aloha !

Predictions, disappointments, reviews and rants about this show go in this topic.

Biggest surprises in the set from the shows in Hamburg during the One Wild Night Tour: Wild Is The Wind and Always

What will Hamburg bring us? Will it be a fairly standard show because Stuttgart is next or will they deliver the goods in Hamburg and give Stuttgart the standard stuff?

I'm not going, but it looks like a fair amount of Jovitalkers are going. Is there anyone who wants to send me text messages tomorrow? Maybe Emil? :D

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

well i think as the guys have had a few nights off this could see the return of always or bed of roses. I guess either Jon on TD or Hey god. Hopefully sleep gets some covers in it again.

I would expect something in the middle.
Not totally run of the mill, but not unbelievably spectacular either.
I would imagine Always or BoR back, and a TD song or two.

Yeah I agree with Crushgen24/88, a decent show with a standard setlist but a few surprises. Bed Of Roses will be played instead of Always IMO and I think Richie will be back on These Days with Hey God making a return.

Might also see a different HAND song, like Bells Of Freedom

Yo. I'm not really up to sending messages throughout the entire show. I feel like that would take focus from the show, and I really want to enjoy it. Maybe that's lame, and I guess it would be fair to sort of return the favour, but that's just they way I feel. Sorry. :p

However though, I will PM you my number. If you can't get hold of a direct contact to the PBP, just let me know. I'll be glad to text you if something funny or semi surprising comes along! :)

Have a great show, pal.

Hope they manage to wow you in person :p

I reckon Stuttgart will have a better set, maybe one different song "always" will make an appearence

Absolutely, Emil! Texting during a concert would make me nuts. With the cellphone plan I have, I can just call someone and leave the line open the whole time -- up to the one on the other end to figure out the song through all the static and screaming! (I've been the one at home, and it ain't easy.) I know that phone plans vary widely, though, so that isn't possible everywhere.

Have a great time, JTers! We'll look forward to your reviews.

Jon has been switching the sets pretty good so lets see what happens and if he forgot that he said that him and the band want to do alot of different songs on this leg.
