Punchestown - how to get there?

Hi everyone! :)

Me and my sister are going to Dublin to see BJ this year (last time we went to Munich) so we're hoping for an amazing gig! :)

But we have some questions:
1: Is there any busses going to and from Punchestown?
2: What shouldn't we miss in Dublin, any most do's?
3: If you have anything other that is intresting about Dublin or good to know, so please tell me :)

Thank you for all your help!

There should be buses out to the venue at Punchestown, Dublin Bus are always good at these type of things for all the summer concerts in and around Dublin. I'm sure when someone knows something, Jovitalk here will be the first place you will learn about it, so keep an eye on things here.

How long are yous in Dublin for? I'm hoping to meet up with other people from the board here on the friday night before the show in Temple Bar (THE place to be in Dublin on a friday night!) All are welcome!

There are plenty of places to party in Dublin...Temple bar is a great spot...Buskers is a pretty good spot...break for the border have a karaoke on a friday night with a dj after and the bar is open until around 3am

The club I usually go to is just up the road from temple bar and it's 3euro a drink until 12am on a friday...tends to attract a very young crowd though...

General age is normally over 18s...occasionally they might say over 21s but usually if they don't like the look of you...

That name doesn't ring a bell...

Irishshin 05-28-2008 09:38 PM

I'm staying in Naas too.

I posted on a forum asking how far a walk was punchestown to naas and got a reply its prob bout an hour to walk! didnt think it would be that long.

Its good that the close the main road though, at least we can walk.

I'm sure they will put buses on from naas to punchestown though, loads of people will be staying in Naas....no idea where we can find out that info though. I did email bus eireann but yeah...no reply...no surprise really!
