plenty of time yet! some people don't get theres till the week before a show so i wouldnt start worrying about it! relax!

Neurotica80 05-28-2008 12:43 AM

Don't be silly its FAR too early to be thinking about tickets yet. I mean theres at least 2 weeks to go, they like to make you sweat for them a while, make a few calls to TM and abuse their staff.

To be honest im expecting them delivered via carrier pigeon on the stroke of midnight the night before the show.

Always a bit of drama involved, this year will be no different.

Can I ask WHY this amazing system exists? It would drive me absolutely insane! And what do you do if you're traveling to several shows without going back home? (For example, I'll be going to the shows in Boston and New York without swinging back by my house in Georgia to see if tickets might have arrived!) Is there an option to pick them up at the stadium . . . and how long must that line be? I'm certainly no huge fan of Ticketmaster here in the U.S. but at least they let me have the tickets for which I paid so dearly!

Ticketmaster Ireland had my tickets to me 5days after they went onsale. Ticketmaster UK, for whatever reason, are different and its more like 5days before the concert if we'r lucky. Yeah its a pain, I've had to pick up box office before for other shows and its never convenient as sometimes the box office isn't always available early if you want to queue from then, and its always busy (and in the case of somewhere like Milton Keynes, apparently very hard to find!)
