Official June 3, 2008 Commerzbank Arena, Frankfurt thread

Aloha !

Predictions, disappointments, reviews and rants about this show go in this topic.

The band hasn't played in Frankfurt for over 10 years now. Their last show was nothing short but spectacular but I don't think any of them will remember it so what will tonight bring us? It's the last show in Germany for what looks like a very, very long time. Will the band give it their all or will they save up a bit for Austria?

Thierry and me have bought tickets for this show just 2 weeks ago, and can't wait. Here's to hoping that it'll be better than Gelsenkirchen! Who's going?

1. Lost Highway
2. Born To Be My Baby
3. You Give Love A Bad Name
4. We Will Rock You / Summertime
5. Just Older
6. Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars
7. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Jumpin' Jack Flash / Mercy
8. Blood Money
9. Blaze Of Glory
10. Whole Lot Of Leavin'
11. Bed Of Roses
12. In These Arms
13. We Got It Going On
14. It's My Life
15. Keep The Faith / Sympathy For The Devil
16. I'll Be There for You (Richie Sambora on lead vocals)
17. Lay Your Hands On Me
18. Who Says You Can't Go Home + reprise
19. Bad Medicine / Shout
20. Livin' On A Prayer

Encore:
21. Any Other Day
22. If Lovin' You Is Wrong (a capella)
23. Damned
24. These Days

25. Wanted Dead Or Alive

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I hope you guys will get a better show than i Gelsenkirchen. Something like main set from Munich with Stuttgart's encores :-)

I'll be there. I hope they do "Hey God" again, I just realized how much impact it has for my current Bon Jovi euphoria that they actually are doing it again. And man it sounded great in Munich!

I don't think the band remembers the show from 1996. I was there, a 13 year old kid who wondered why they had to play SO MANY ballads. But looking back, it's one of the best setlists of them I have ever seen, so later I fugured out on what a killer show I was. They nearly played the whole These Days record!

This time, I'll be really greatful to hear anything from TD - Richie singing the title track & a returm of "Damned" would make may day. And I really hope they do "Make A Memory" - I missed it in Munich. "Mystery Train" would also be welcome here, as I remember how great it sounded in 2001. "Bounce" would be nice, too (love it live!).

I just hope for a strong + energetic shows like the last ones!

Neurotica80 requested This Ain't A Love Song so we can pray for that. As Simon said Bounce would be great too, a great song live! :)

An encore similar to Barcelona would be brilliant!!! :D

My gut is telling me that the set will be a bit vanilla, but I thought yesterday would be vanilla as well so what do I know?
