Rare songs you have herad live
 

This may not be the newest thread, but I can't sleep. With this great diversity in the setlists nowadays I became so excited that I went looking through my old setlists. Here's what I found - and I would like to know which rarities you witnessed, or even songs that were rare at the current tour. Lucky me to live in Europe! ;-)



I've been to 11 shows, here's one by one:

1. Essen, 1995

- Great, but standard show. They played "Hey God" before the album was released. I remembered it when two weeks later I put These Days into my player for the first time. Cool! ;-)

2. Frankfurt, 1996

The most spectacular setlist I've witnessed. Played the most of These Days (like "All I Want Is Everything", "Lie To Me", "Letting You Go"...), show went on for 3 hours. Took some years to realize how special that tour was, I was 13 back then! I have some good memories though...

- "Helter Skelter" opened the show!

3. Essen 2000

4. Collogne 2001

6. Mannheim 2003

7. Munich 2003 (probably best show I've seen since 1996)

8. Hessisch Lichtenau 2006

- Raise Your Hands (opened the show!)

9. Munich 2006

10. Munich 2008 (my current favourite show, thanks to these 2 songs:)

I've only seen two songs that would be considered rarities:

Vancouver, December 15, 2008
-Diamond Ring
-Mystery Train

At the time, the electric version of Blaze Of Glory was considered a rarity as well, and they played it at the second Vancouver show.

Off the top of my head: Damned, Wild is the Wind, Livin in Sin, Garageland, I get a Rush, Dry County, I got the girl, Miss Fourth of July

Don't know really what is considered rare, but from this I'd say
Damned, These Days, Wild is the wind, Living in Sin, Never say goodbye, Homebound Train.

These would be all the setlists I've seen live (Have them all saved on my computer.....what, I'm not mental =p) . I guess decide for yourself what's "rare". Some are obvious, but some where rare for that particular tour.

22/1/08 Sydney, Australia - Someday I'll Be Saturday Night (Acoustic), Never Say Goodbye (Acoustic), Great Balls Of Fire!

I have seen no songs that I would consider to be quality rarities.

In 2001 I saw:

I Got The Girl
Blaze of Glory
Wild in the Streets

In 2003 we got:

I Got The Girl
Lola
These Days!!!!! (Wooohooo!)
Lay Your Hands On Me

In 2006:

Blood on Blood

Not anything special in there at all - the highlight being These Days at Hyde Park.

Did you forget Never Say Goodbye at Hyde Park then Gav? lol

I went to these shows as well as the Melbourne show. I would also include Hallelujah, Blood On Blood, I'll be there for you (Jon and Richie- Acoustic), the timemachine pre runaway, wild in the streets, twist and shout.
