U2 are hit and miss with me. The songs I like I really like but the songs I hate I really hate. Trying to think of U2 songs I really love:

Now that song I could have on repeat for years. But everything else, I either really like or really hate.

U2 could have easily been my favourite band, but I found Bon Jovi first.

I think Clocks and Talk are good songs but that's it. I haven't heard The Scientist though so I may give that a listen.

I wasn't talking about U2 when I said that they were rubbish. That was all about Coldplay. I can stand U2, they're alright. :)

I do think Coldplay are awful though.

I have just recently made a huge effort to "get" Coldplay since two of my kids think they are great. Sorry - I can't even say that I hate them. I think they are just blah - who gives a shit and why are you singing about it?

They aren't even offensive which used to be a criteria for hating someone's music. (Believe me I'm aware that this is said about Bon Jovi too). But Bon Jovi's music makes me happy and Coldplay's doesn't - it's as simple as that.
