Lets Give Bon Jovi Their first EVER UK Number 1 Hit!
 

Hi guys,

5 UK number 1 Albums, 18 top ten singles...but NO number 1 hits!

Can you believe Bon Jovi have never had a UK No.1 Single? I mean, it doesnt matter cos we all know how good they are but i think we need to make a point!

Here's what we do:
Between the 23rd and 28th of June just go to a UK based LEGAL music download website (i know its obvious) and download the song we eventually come up with, I'll send a message to everyone when we have decided. If we get enough people to do this we should be able to storm the charts and people at Radio 1 will wonder what the hell is happening!

I heard that it takes about 14,000 sales to get top 5 these days so if we tell as many fans as possible this should be a breeze!

As this event hasn't started yet please suggest songs to download, Everybody is gonna have a different favorite but we need to agree on something.

we calling out for all you bon jovi fans, together we can make this a reality!

I tried this just after I signed up last year, didn't do too well though.

Nobody was really behind it.


We were downloading Livin on a prayer, can't remember how high it got, but it didn't make top 40.

Although Livin on a Prayer is currently being used to advertise the sunday might project, so might be in with a shot now.

The best chance you'd have for this to actually work is if you organised it for their first single release after the Lost Highway cycle finishes. So the first single off of either the next studio album or a Greatest Hits. Otherwise, you've got just about no chance of organising 14000+ people in the UK to download a song that most of them already have. Especially since there's only a few hundred active UK users on this site at most

I agree..... we tried LOAP last year and it didnt work, it needs to be a new song....
