hiya, well due to travelling etc I won't get to the stadium (Manchester) until around 6:30pm.

I have a GC ticket but not fan club.

I remember hearing something once saying that after a certain time, people from GA get allowed into GC to fill it up.

What if I arrive and they won't let me into the GC area?

Are they allowed to do that? ie I've paid for GC so it shouldnt matter what time I arrive, am i right in thinking that?

I wouldn't worry, to be honest. There were a few problems on the last tour with the two circles, but I'm sure that you'll be right in the middle of the pit turning up at that time.

They aren't going to put you in GA, if you have a GC ticket!!

But the other way round can, and does, happen.

My brother had GA for U2 at Manchester. He and his wife, ended up being pushed into GC. And they were right at the front of GC! So it can happen.

But, I dunno about what time to que. I'm not in GC this time, so...:( But I'm getting there a few hours early, even with GA. Not just because I wanna get as close, in there as possible. But because we don't know our way around Twickenham. And by the time we've got the train there, and blah blah...that's when abouts it'll be. Might as well start queing!

I just know that, if I had GC...I'd get there as soon as I could. I'd wanna be RIGHT at the stage. lol. Have fun.

.

Unlike BJ the U2 GC was free on a first come first serve basis(Like ALL GC used to be) to all GA ticket holders. I`ve been GC at U2 for the last 3 tours and paind not a penny extra.

u2 didn't sell that many tickets in manchester either , the stadium didn't look too empty but there were definately a lot of free seats , lots of room GA , and you could buy tickets from the box office for half price on the day!!

Heh, U2 at Hampden in 05 had loads of empty seats because security was rotten and we just walked into GA from our seats. We even said hi to the security guard whose job it was to stop people getting in.

I still haven't studied how to get there yet.

But I might be getting there between 9-10 :)
