Travel after Bristol

Is there anybody at all that will be travelling back towards Liverpool or in that direction after the Bristol gig with room for 2 more? Went to book train tickets today, costs £25 to get there, but £50 to get home, even though the train home is at 01.30AM it is seen as peak time! So weve got tickets to get there, but no way of getting home. Im really low on money as im only a student who works part time and its costing me nearly £300 in tix, travel and spends to do 2 shows (Manc aswell). Were going to explore other ways and this would be the last resort really as we dont fancy sleeping on the streets in a city we have no idea about.

Any reply greatly appreciated.
Ben

www.megabus.com its a cheap bus ride from certain cities in the UK. Well I don't see why they'd have a problem with you sleeping in the station. I've slept in a few airports when tours begin, worth a try.

No luck with megabus, dont do a service Bristol to Liverpool. We would have to stay in the station until after 9.30AM as the tickets go cheaper then. This gig best be worth it:mad:

Or you could find a bar/pub thats open until late and stay there till its closed then head over to the station.

Yer my mate suggested that. We'll probably go, enjoy the gig, then worry about getting home after it:D

Another question, were GC for the first time, will be getting to the stadium around 2.30. Will you be allowed to drink in the queue? We want to have to few drinks before the gig but also want to make the most of being in GC.

I'm not sure about drinking in the que, probably... and there will be beer inside too.

Try the above links if you want somewhere to stay :)

....why do you have to drink...tell me that.....?

We dont have to drink. Its just what we do before gigs. Have a few beers before it, then go to the gig. Im sure thats what the majority of the crowds at any concert do.
