i hate pushing through people (i wont push to get to the front, il deal with it), they all give you the dirtiest of looks but i mean im only like 5'5/6 so come on (I DONT INTEND ON DOING SO, SO DONT MOAN AT ME, IM JUST STATING A POINT, i did it when i went reading...felt bad for the people i was with about 10 people so i had too)

Queue up like everyone else. Don't be pushing past people. Why should you get preferential treatment? People camp out for Jovi shows, so if you really want to be at the front that desperately, then you have to put in the 'leg-work'. If you had queued all day, and someone came in at the last minute and stood infront of you, you wouldn't be too happy would you?

Think about it.

At Milton Keynes 2 years ago, I believe I didn't have to queue up early, as casual concert-goers tend to make their way to the back :)

yeh im hoping something like that...ive never been to BJ concert before, ive been to hell of a lot of indie gigs where its all people ym age and they fight eachother to get to the front...and im kinda guessing (no offennce to jovi) that the majority of fans aint gonna be 16-18 year olds? am i right or wrong...

At least 4 lots of people tried to push they way to the front at Bristol. We where polite at 1st then told them to get the **** away from us.

Queue up like everyone else. 1st come, 1st served. Like Kev said get there early q and wait. Fairs fair if you have queued you have earned "your right" to be near the front.

If you arrive later, well that's tough. Accept the fact that people where there before you and then stand behind them.

Or get a seated ticket next time.

i know i know i know...sorry i think what i said came across wrong...i didnt mean that was my alternative...i was just stating ive done it, didnt like it

If your getting there 12-1pm, I reckon thats gonna be too late to be near the front. It depends if you want right at the front or just near it.

For Southampton we where there from 10.30am and only 1 of the 5 made it to the very front of GA. 3-4 hours of Qing is nothing. Reckon you need to be there by 9am if not earlier.

Didn't mean to sound harsh, I was just very pissed off yesterday when it was tried. As when we arrived there was only 12 people ahead of us in the queue.

Indie gigs are easy to deal with. Like you said, people always want to get to the front and (depending on the type of gig it is) what tends to happen is that as the concert progresses spaces become available. Usually it's people that are too pissed or just tired from the crush of others behind them moving away to the back.

You make a fair point that there won't be as many 16-18 year olds there but as long as you're respectful you'll be fine. I know some people can be very particular when it comes to giving up space. Look at it this way, if I was stood in GA and someone came barging past I'd take issue. If, on the other hand, I got a poilite tap on the shoulder that person asked if it was ok to move forward then I'd be more inclined to let them through. There's no guarantee though as lots of people have been waiting a long time for these gigs and want their spot..a Jovi gig is a big deal, especially as we don't know when we'll be seeing them again. Not like your indie bands who have to play every week to keep themselves stocked up on rizzlas ;)

Good luck though and have a good day out :D
