Is it me or has he been sounding a bit full of himself in recent interviews?

I've been thinking the same thing, Alana. The phrase "reading his own press clippings" comes to mind.

maybe he is trying to prove he is on top of the game pr wise.... making the extra effort with the press after the bad yr he has had.

Could be. I don't remember him tooting his own horn so much during the press stuff he did for the last tour.

Clearly Alana and I think so, too, but it's generally better to have someone else say how wonderful you are than to say it yourself. :rolleyes:

Yup, I admire him through thick and thin and he is old enough to be my father:p

If I were Richie I'd compliment myself!
