The changing of songs at a show

Once in a while the band choose change the setlist in the middle of a show. They replace it with another.
I've read this in lots of reviews etc.

My big question is: How the h*** do you find this out???

From what I gather some people on the boards know people that work on the shows and manage to ge hold of/see a copy of the set list....I guess if this isn't what was played then they changed it!! I think it tends to be only a few songs that get dropped/switched as opposed to a massive set list change.
I'm sure others on the board will be able to enlighten you further!

I have a friend who's good at getting setlists. I never think of it, but I think she just goes up front and asks for one! LOL In Nashville, she got Richie's, and at the second Atlanta show, she got his guitar tech's. For Nashville, no audibles were listed, and the show was exactly as planned. I don't think there were any audibles listed for Atlanta 2 either, but Jon did Hallelujah instead of Last Man Standing in the encore.

Night 1 in Atlanta was even better. My setlist friend wasn't there that night, but someone on this board posted a picture of the computer touchscreen that controlled the lighting and asked a question. The picture had been taken night 1 in Atlanta and had the setlist in the picture. That's how I learned that Always was an audible that night! We were supposed to get Summertime in that slot. :D

After the show all you need to do is see if you can get a setlist off one of the stage crew as they start taking down the stage.
