Two Twickenhams...

Now, please don't shoot me down! but after being very near the back for the second Twickenham date in a seated section where barely anyone stood (don't worry I was up there dancing and singing my heart out!) and then seeing a half empty standing GA, I feel the need to ask whether they band should have kept to one Twickenham date. I don't know what the rest of the crowd was like on Friday as I was in GC and, due to lack of height(!) couldn't tell how full it was. I didn't keep up with all the ticket sales at the time so it could be that Fri sold out really quickly and so adding Sat. made sense but if it didn't would it have been better to have one date that would have made sure that the Euro leg ended with even more of a bang?
Just thought I'd put the question out there to see what people think......

I agree. Whilst i thought both shows were really good, i think they should just play one show on the final weekend of the tour at a big stadium and sell it out completely.

It was strange at times in the seats - there were times when I was almost the only person standing, bar a few girls near me. where were you, I was in L11.

From a selfish viewpoint I am glad they did 2 Twickers's dates as I got to go to the 2nd one and couldn't make the 1st. From a band stanpoint maybe they should have just done the one and sold out properly.

I think my block was L20 but I could be wrong! It was lower tier, on the east side on the corner (i.e. not the back facing the stage but not the side either). Was in a group of 3 girls that were some of the few people up all night..... you notice when you're near the back how many people leave early....grr...makes me mad!

I couldn't believe people leaving before the first encore - I wasn't sure if they wanted to get away early, weren't enjoying themselves or just didn't know how these things work!? I was also shocked to see so many people walk off to the loo or where ever during I Believe - guess it didn't work for the more casual fans.

They do too many UK dates end of. Thats why we got a shorter Bristol show cos they were doing 2 nights at Twickers.

I reckon next time they do Glasgow, Manc, Pride Park/Coventry/Wolves ground (cant spell it) and 1xWembley. Do 4 gigs and keep the all the sameish length

I noticed that at Hapden as well, so many people leaving! I mean fair enough people have trains/buses to get and maybe don't want to be stuck for ages after the gig's ended, but I just assumed that everybody knows that if a band is half-decent, they'll do an encore.
I also noticed a steady stream of people walking about during the show to get drinks/go to the toilet, which even if I don't personally do it (unless it's an emergency), but it gets really irritating in seating when the same people continually ask to get past you to get a drink or whatever. Especially in the middle of Richie's solo in DC:(

Under Bon Jovi law you could have killed them with no fear of recrimination.

It's madness! SOOOO many people were walking around, going to the toilet/to get a drink in the opening 15mins.....what's that about?! I had the classic, sit down, don't sing, walk around lots but take loads of videos...huh?!!

I wanted to! It's downright rude more than anything else...you may want to get up for another drink every 20 minutes, but I don't see the point in spending over £50 on a ticket only to miss half of the show by wandering about....or to be constantly pushed past!
