Best venue you have ever seen the band at
Simply, what is the best venue you've ever seen the band at?
For me it would have to be Milton Keynes. I prefer open air to stadiums, and Hyde Park was just a little too big. Wembley Arena was pretty cool, but I was literally right at the back, and the show was only nine songs long, so can't really count that ... although I think it'd be cool to see them properly in an arena |
I saw the band at Acer Arena in Sydney And AMI Stadium in Christchurch, the atmosphere at the arena shows was intense and the sound was awesome, in the stadium is was abit all over the place. So Acer Arena gets my vote.

Shephards's Bush Empire, or Hyde Park.
Can't decide between the two. SBE was nice and intimate, but being front row at Hyde Park with all those people behind me was an awesome experience. |
Visually I liked the Wembley Arena shows...coming off the back of the New Jersey album being released, lots of excitment, sold out crowd, full stage show with the catwalk coming down from the ceiling..loads of pyro....oh happy days!!! :D
Hammersmith Odeon was the best venue for sound though. |
I've seen them lots of places on the east coast but I'd have to say Madison Square Garden in New York City for an indoor arena - the sound is superb there. And Giants Stadium here in Jersey for an outdoor stadium. Outdoor stadiums, however, are known for having sound problems - they were built for sports not music acoustics.
I'm pleased about the upcoming MSG shows since summer here is HOT and unpredictable about the rain. I've been to too many concerts at Giants and been soaked to the skin for both Bon Jovi and Springsteen shows - or damn near died of the heat. Last tour a concert was ended early due to the severe electrical storm. An indoor place with air conditioning and excellent sound is just fine for me this year (or maybe I am becoming a wuss LOL). |

Front of the O2 last year was great but best for me - Top of the Pops II Bon Jovi special at Elstree studios. Got to hang with the band all day, small room, close proximity etc.
Only drawback was that they lip synched through most of the songs - although then did a live acoustic Livin on a Prayer to finish, which was awesome. |
I absolutely love Milton Keynes when the weather is great - the 2001 show there was superb. It rained practicallly all afternoon during the support and then the sun came back out for Bon Jovi. The set was fantastic - remember that hotel? They played for 3 hours and it was like an amazing outdoor Bon Jovi party!

Wembley Stadium, in 2000. Old Wembley was superb, gimme the towers over the arch any day :)
Hyde Park was just a bit too immense (even though I was quite close). MK is good, really cool feeling, sauntering into that bowl from left of stage, seeing everyone lining the banking. It's almost best to come in last. |
Only seen them 3 times and 2 of them have been in the City Of Manchester Stadium so got to say there.

Croke Park or the old Wembley for me...
