Did Jon ever do any Blaze of Glory gigs?

As the title says - I'd live to hear a recording of that whole album live, it's probably only behind SWW, NJ and KTF in my ranking of Bon Jovi produced albums.

Others may know some info I don't, but as far as I know no.

Nah he didn't do any sadly - there were a handful of promo radio gigs, and BOG was played at the Oscars but that was about it.

As such only a few songs from the album have ever been played live.

It was played at the Oscars? Is there a recording? Who was in the band?

How cool is that!?! Didn't know the band performed around that time... I think they stopped talking for quite a while, and it was one and a half years before KTF, so I wonder when their personal reunion (especially between Jon & Richie) took place...

And that bearded weirdo behind the drums is Tico? lol

They got together in December 1990 for the first Christmas show at Count Basie Theater in NJ. They rang in the new year with a few concerts in Japan, including one that was partially broadcast on MTV. Despite whatever was going on behind the scenes, those were some of the best shows they ever did. Diamond Ring (which wasn't released yet) and Cadillac Man both made appearances on the set lists. Those were in December 1990/January 1991. The Academy Awards were in March 1991 (the 23rd, I think), so they had already played together as a band though they had not played Blaze of Glory together prior to the Academy Awards.

I'm not sure, whether somebody has already posted that somewhere - radio recordings from 1990:

The video of Blaze Of Glory at Academy Awards is great, but Jon sounds so angry when singing! :p
