By no means, are those their best songs, but they're the most well known.

Here in the UK, you're unlikely to hear much else unless you actively seek it out. The only reason I know anything other than Iris is cos I picked up the live album a few years back. Which I've only listened to a couple of times all the way through, there's some pretty good songs on there but a lot of it is too samey IMO

They've gone through some radical changes since they started out in 1986. Their late 80's stuff is very punky, thought I've never really taken the time to get into it, nor am I really a punk fan. Their mid-90's albums (Superstar Carwash and A Boy Named Goo) are a slightly less commercial, kinda hard rock version of what they do now. Very Greenday/Smashing Pumpkins-ish (sorry, they're the only bands that come to mind ATM) Then ofcourse you've got everything from Iris onwards which is softer, more commercial (but still good) material. But like the Walrus said, their post-98 stuff can be quite samey.

One song you should check out though is Lazy Eye (from the Batman & Robin Soundtrack), great hard rockin' tune. Probably the only good thing to come out of that movie.

That's a great tune. I love the Goo Goo Dolls and there's nothing wrong with it sounding like it could fit with Let Love In.

Farout, they've been around since the 80's? I thought they were a 90's band.

Anyway, I'm lovin this song. Never been very big on them either, only track I can recall at the mo would be Iris.

Yes, it totally sounds like a Let Love In leftover. Terrible album IMO.

And the music companies wonder why people steal music

They are still trying to control who listens to what - on different sides of the Atlantic. If I am willing to pay for something - and then I'm not allowed to download it - Pirate Bay here I come.

Great track. I actually really enjoy Let Love In, so this track was a warm addition to some of my favorites off of that record.

I actually enjoyed Let love In aswell, even though it felt like you were listening to one long song, but Real just indicates for me that the new album is just gonna be LLI - Part 2. But I don't waan judge an album thats not even finished by only hearing one song. I hope it's rockier and leans more toward A Boy Named Goo.

I wouldn't count on it. It seems as though the Goos have been in this general direction since Dizzy. I hope they do throw a few rockier tracks in there, but I don't mind most the the material on Let Love In either.
