Don't mean to be picky but in the New Testament of the Bible it clearly states that going into chatrooms is a sin so I don't think it's the best place for Christ to go.

You're not getting the message - take it to pm or to msn or aim for chat. Good manners are not completely outdated - especially on an international message board where English is not everyone's native language. Imagine the frustration of someone struggeling to read all those messages before it dawns on them that it is private chat :(. There is nothing wrong with sticking to a topic.

Christ - Go to a chatroom.

i agree - 1 thread was 76 pages and most of it was personal converations.

Prove it

Have to say I agree too, there are some threads that start off as interesting chat about the relevant topic but this then degenrates into another 5 pages of MSN chatter that puts me off reading the rest of the thread.

The number of active members on this forum seems to have dropped drastically during this MSN period and that period being during a tour shows how much it is affecting the forum.

I thought all the slowchatters had been very well behaved, not bringing it into the PBPs, mostly keeping it to the NBJ forums. And even participating in real Jovi discussions!

Was I wrong?!

Yeah I have to agree with this. Even though I am a culprit (yeah I've got my hands up for once ;)) we are moving it to the NBJ sections more than we used to.

So yeah we may ruin a couple of Bon Jovi threads but we're getting better.

Oli, I don't like being on people's bad sides :( I'm scared!

I don't even bother looking for setlists here any more. I just go to bonjovi.com. Trying to find it here, takes scrolling through dozens of pages of useless crap to find it. It's annoying as hell.

Yeah, you were wrong lol.

I for one stopped visiting this board for a few weeks simply because I was getting pissed off at having to read through page after page of peoples personal conversations, usually these conversations were in the middle of a PBP where most people were only interested in the set, not other peoples chat.

It does seem to have calmed down a bit recently, probably because of this thread. But it is still constantly happening and it is driving people away.
