I for one stopped visiting this board for a few weeks simply because I was getting pissed off at having to read through page after page of peoples personal conversations, usually these conversations were in the middle of a PBP where most people were only interested in the set, not other peoples chat.

It does seem to have calmed down a bit recently, probably because of this thread. But it is still constantly happening and it is driving people away.

No, alan said it's how it carries on, so it's your fault. Witty comment > reply > then your other witty comment. You're teh one who carries it on.
