Jon on simpsons

I was watching the Simpsons episode 'Midnight Towboy' last night and wondered if anyone else caught the Jon reference. It was pretty hysterical.

Haven't seen the episode but...

Quote:

Searching for some replacement milk, Homer eventually found himself in Guidopolis, a town populated with your stereotypical New Jersey-types. The town motto: "What are you lookin' at?" The local convenience store: "Mook-E-Mart." Homer finds his milk, but in doing so he gets his car towed. This is where he met Louie, ably voiced by Matt Dillon. Louie introduced Homer to the joys of being a tow truck driver and set him up to run a truck in Springfield. (The territory had been wide open since "Flatbed Fred got killed in that murder-murder-murder-suicide.")

Homer got carried away with the success of his towing business, hauling in a helicopter, his buddy Lenny's car and the Sunday School bus with the kids still in it. This led the townsfolk to set Homer up and trick him into towing a car from Louie's territory. Louie retaliated by throwing Homer into his basement (through a trapdoor activated by a bust of Jon Bon Jovi, no less) with several other tow truck drivers.

Lol, quite funny. After 19 years of the Simpsons, that was the first Bon Jovi reference. :)

I think there was another one before, where fat toney went to his cigar holder and there was a statue of Job as the holder. I cannot rember which episode it was though

Yeah, fairly recently (within the last 2 years or so) he was offered a role, but he turned it down. Shame.

Yeah, it was a melted cheese joke. They used it on Billy Joel later on.
I'd have to read the exact lines before I judge Jon's actions either way.
