Today I was listening to the "Keep the Faith" record, and this song pops up, and I think... Now... this is what I call a rock song.
I just wish Jon could sing it one more time. This song is sooo cool!!
Thoughts?

I like the song, but if Jon tried to sing it he'd **** it up properly.

Yes I've got a thought. It's shit and is one of Bon Jovi's attempts to make a hard rock song but fails because the song is shit anyway.

As for the song, I like it. It's a good song for headbanging, for rocking out. Nothing more, nothing less. In any case, much better than other attempts of the band to be heavy/thrashy.

I think it's very overrated. It's just alright really.

It's not "bad" bad, but I think it's one of the weakest on KTF.

I love this song. Sure, the lyrics are slightly bizarre, but it's just KILLER. The vocals (including the harmonies), the guitar, the drums, everything is just turned up to 10 on this song. I love how unique it is in the Bon Jovi catalogue too. And I love the way it just explodes out of nowhere after Bed Of Roses

It'd be amazing to hear it live, although I agree that Jon probably wouldn't be able to pull it off, not even with his recent vocal resurgence. But still, anything even approaching level of awesomeness would be very welcome!

I also love the way that In These Arms, Bed Of Roses and If I Was Your Mother seem to form a kind of trilogy on the album. My interpretation of ITA is that it's not a love song, it's about a guy who will say anything to get the girl into bed. Then we move onto BOR, which is a love song, and then IIWYM, which is about full blown obsession. They're all about wanting someone in different ways, and the progression of themes gives the album a great flow, IMO

I love it too! I think I would freak out big time if they ever played it live.
