Bon Jovi playing in a shop, guy's own comp I think!?

Please excuse the weak thread but its not often I go in to a shop and hear Bon Jovi playing! This afternoon I went in to Forbidden Planet in Cambridge and Bad Medicine was playing - also just so happened to be the first time I've worn my tour t-shirt since buying it in the 28th! Glad to hear the song I was pretty shocked when Livin' On A Prayer Came on as that meant the guy had made his own compilation of Bon Jovi songs - this was confirmed when Any Other Day was the next song, and so it went on!

He said that Sunday is the only day he gets to choose the music, and what a great choice too! Silly little story I know but one that made me smile!

Never knew you lived there!

You are very lucky, I love Cambridge - great shops, restaurants, bars and awesome buildings. I like the Corn Exchange too, though I've only seen McFly there - Denise's choice you understand!

I spend far too much time in Forbidden Planet as it is and with a Bon Jovi comp playing I had chance of getting out quickly! I haven't heard Bon Jovi playing in a shop in many many years.

There is a Forbidden Planet in New York City too. Awesome place with lots of Star Wars stuff and science fiction.

There was a Jovi mention on Coronation Street this week.

Tyrone:
"Yeah sorry, i was under the vehicle and i had Bon Jovi giving it some" *grins, and points at earphones*

Ok, so now for my JT moment of fame! It's a thread about me!!! (Bursting with pride!!)

It was my ipod playing the playlist that I think pretty much followed the Southampton set list. Set it up as a rough guide before my trip to Manchester. Trust the guys to put together a much better set for my actual concert trip!

However, I kept the playlist on and as the sunday manager of the store it's one of few days I get to play more of what I listen to.

Also thanks to me buying the Jon and Richie figures through the store we now have more in stock (all be it the twin packs), but like to think I'm doing my bit to bring the band into places that they are appreciated. :-D

Blimey - it certainly is a small world!

With only a small Waterstones in Hitchin its always nice to visit Forbidden Planet when we come to Cambridge and I'll be hoping to come back with some birthday money!

Coco Bongo (the CNN proclaimed 'Best Club in the World') in Cancun have a Bon Jovi section as part of their nightly show. There's something pretty good about 6,000 non-Bon Jovi fans singing Bad Medicine whilst watching great Bon Jovi clips on the huge video screens.
