What you gonna do if you drop out?

Chica Guacamole 02-23-2009 08:05 PM

Dunno. I'm just not getting anywhere on my course and I feel that I can't do anything right on it. I'd probably just get a job somewhere and figure it out from there.

Oli, that does seem like a bad day. Funny... but bad!

I'll give you funny

I was calm again a couple hours ago, because if I listen to "Saints Of Los Angeles" and "Mother****er Of The Year" by Motley Crue it calms me down :D

But then I remembered that I was forced to add Maria (my biggest fan...I think) on MSN because I needed to ask a favour. And now she won't leave me alone even more than she already didn't

I think I actually hate her now. I used to just dislike her but it's hate.

Today I think....God, this is going to be so hard. Nutella is one of the staple foods of my diet. I got through a pot like every 2-3 days. Oh well, good time to go on a health kick I suppose :)

Goldsausage 02-25-2009 09:42 AM

Don't make me go to college! :(

Ferret 02-25-2009 09:56 AM

**** God, I'm not giving up anything for lent. I like chocolate, drinking and all that.

I couldn't do it either. Be too hard. I eat chocolate bars every day.

Goldsausage 02-25-2009 10:34 PM

For lent my girlfriend wants me to give up on being nosy, according to her diary.

Hehe, I tell that one every year and it never fails to get a laugh  Apart from you guys, you're probably not laughing.

ANYWAY ENOUGH OF JOKEY OLI, IT'S TIME FOR ANGRY OLI

I had a feeling something bad was going to happen to do and it God damn did too. Right, so I do an Art course in College. I applied for Media Studies, waited all summer to do it, then as soon as I got to the college they chucked me out on the second day and said they're not running the course. This pissed me off of course, as they had all summer to contact me. But they said they could put me on an Art/Design/Photography/Graphics/ which includes a Media course, and the Media part wasn't even a day a week but I took them up on the offer anyway.

Well, months gone by, nearly finished the year, just got 4 months left. But today they tell me that I no longer do 6 hours of media a week but now 3, and they're replacing my Media teacher with my Photography teacher who knows nothing about Media

So now I'm wondering - shall I drop out and hope that I'll still get onto Media/Film Studies at another college without getting grades from this year, I mean, I know my shit about media and one of my films one an award for best film so surely they'd let me in for that alone? Or should I stay on at this course til the end of the year and **** every single one of the teachers I have over and over and over again?

I'd say go to another, but what do i know?
Maybe give it a week or two and see how it goes?

Chica Guacamole 02-27-2009 10:33 PM

I don't know what I'd do...all I know is that without grades it's way more difficult to get into other colleges and stuff.

Goldsausage 02-27-2009 11:28 PM

Well I had Media today and it sucked balls.

My photography teacher admitted to not knowing a thing she's teaching us and said she's getting help from others :|

Then she just gave us all a film camera, stuck us into groups and told us to go interview people about the questions she handed us.

And I hate talking to random people I don't know and my mates kept making my ask people <_<

Mate: I'm not going to ask people, they'll just tell us to **** off.
Me: I'm not gonna, I don't like talking to you guys, let alone people I don't know
Mate: You're the pretty boy, girls will agree to go on camera if you ask
Me: You're 25, they'll feel obliged to do it if you ask them
Mate: How could that work? You're not feeling obliged to do what I say
Me: Touche.
...
Mate: Please do it
Me: Fine. But I'm only gonna ask people who are good looking to my taste
Mate: Ok I'll do it
Me: Too late, I'm doing it

That had nothing to do with the college screwing me around but it still pissed me off so media sucked.

So I think I'll just stay on for a few weeks and see what comes of it. Good thinking James.

Chica Guacamole 02-28-2009 08:48 PM

I'm very proud of myself, I finished 2 essays today despite knowing absolutely bugger all about the subject matter :) Now I'm off to buy obscene amounts of make-up online :)

Goldsausage 02-28-2009 10:34 PM

I'VE JUST HAD THE WEIRDEST THING HAPPEN TO ME EVER.

So, I was walking to the corner shop to get a couple bottles of Dr Pepper. I'm walking along the path and across the road is this girl, looked a couple years older than me and was kind of pretty, from what I could make out in the dark. Anyway, every now and then she'd make a groaning noise.

Didn't know what the hell was up with her but I kept looking over anyway. Thought about crossing over and asking if she was ok but didn't.

Then suddenly she started lowering herself onto the floor and so I figured I had to cross over and see what was happening.

So I crossed the road, expecting to have to sort out some crack head, but when I get to her I see a massive bump on her stomach.

I wished I was anywhere in the world except there. I had no ****ing idea what to do. So dialled 999 and told them that a girl's about to go give birth in the middle of the street.

I expected them to give me instructions on what to do but they didn't  So all of my expectations tonight have been wrong.

Anyway, so I calm her down, tried to get her to breath and kept her warm - which was kinda scary cos I know what these pregnant women are like.

I've never delt with a woman about to give birth before so I didn't know what the hell to do. Rip off her jeans and tell her to push? I didn't have a ****ing clue.

So I just kept doing what I do best, calm people down. So I told her everything will be ok blah blah blah and then the ambulance finally arrived, they were pretty quick to be honest but still.

And then they got her into the ambulance, told me I can't come because I'm not a family member or friend, asked me if I was ok, I said yeah, one man said to keep an eye out on the newspapers this week and then they left me there :|

So I went home, told me parents and slept on the sofa. But I'm still Dr Pepper-less :(

So yeah, VERY weird night. I wonder how she's doing...and who the hell let her out on her own when she could have dropped at any minute?

And now I'm too scared to ever go out again in case I come across more pregnant women <_>

But at least I'll be in the papers  I think.

liljovi93 02-28-2009 10:38 PM

Haha, why do these things happen to you?

You done the right thing though, well done :D

Before the last sentence I was gonn say 'not even a thanks or anything'? :p

Chica Guacamole 03-01-2009 11:30 PM

Well done Oli! That's so awesome, you sort of helped a baby into the world!

I just had a huge fight with one of my friends. Seems she doesn't understand that I only get like £160 a month student loan and therefore can't afford to go on heaps of wild holidays and go shopping every single weekend...well, not if I want to eat and stuff. Grr.

I can think of cooler ways I'd like to bring babies into the world.

Maybe I shoulda screamed my name to the girl? Just so she could name the lil nipper after me. Well, might be born a girl but still.

I wonder if the kid will have my eyes? Maybe it'll like films as much as I? I wonder if it'll be a Man Utd supporter? Perhaps it'll learn to play guitar too?

Chica Guacamole 03-01-2009 11:50 PM

You should have screamed your name at her! If it did come out a girl, she could have named it Olivia......

Goldsausage 03-01-2009 11:51 PM

Just another regret to add to my already long list :(

Maybe I should phone up all the hospitals, find her, and ask her to change the name?

I wouldn't do that....women aren't the most rational creatures anyway, but after giving birth, even more irrational! SHE MIGHT KILL YOU!

Especially if the after-birth hormones have kicked in
