Hold on, Newcastle played alright yesterday. :p

However, I do believe that is it now. With Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa still to play, we have a very tough schedule and even though I've said it the past 4 years, we will be relegated this season and it is completely deserved. Too mnay players talking about fighting and having character, not enough players actually displaying that.

So happy Man United are losing but I still see them winning the title. Doesn't bother me TBH, I was wanting Chelsea or Arsenal to win it so whoever wins it I won't be happy.

I still think Man U will win it. Against the not so good teams we seem to drop points and that is basically are next few fixtures.

Friedel should never of been sent off. I hope they appeal.

From AVFC.co.uk:

"Villa have lodged an appeal against goalkeeper Brad Friedel's sending off in the defeat at Liverpool.

The club should learn tomorrow afternoon whether the red card and one-match ban will be overturned."

It'll be harsh if he misses the next game (away at Man Utd), he's currently the record holder for most consecutive top flight appearances. I'm not sure of the exact number, but it's around the 180 mark which is incredible even for a goalkeeper.

Credit to the Liverpool fans too, he got an amazing reception and a really loud 'Friedel!' chant when he got sent off.

I hope the appeal goes there way. Definitely wasn't a red. Yeah, I think it is 180 exactly. Hasn't missed a game for 5 years. One hell of a record.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel has had the red card he received in Sunday's defeat at Liverpool rescinded by the Football Association.

The visitors were 4-0 down when Friedel was sent off by referee Martin Atkinson for bringing down Fernando Torres.

However, the American argued he went for a 50-50 ball and had nowhere else to go after Torres got to it first.

The decision means Friedel will now be available for Villa's trip to Manchester United on Sunday 5 April.
