I've never enjoyed Match Of the Day since last season.

Worrying fact: Newcastle United haven't won at home since December 21st 2008. **** me. :(

That's bad.

You're remaining fixtures aren't too bad though.

I've enjoyed MOTD a few times this season :)

You see that is true but we don't beat teams like that. For example, we've lost to Blackburn when they were managed by ince(poor in other words), Hull, and haven't beat teams like Stoke etc.

I don't have any confidence but honestly I do really hope we survive. 'll just have to put all my faith in Big Al. :)

The acid test was never going to be against the likes of Chelsea - that would have been a fantasy start to management for Shearer.

If the Newcastle fans don't get too disheartened by the game this weekend and can replicate the atmosphere in the next game, I think the 'Shearer-effect' will be seen. I hope it is anyway because, no disrespect meant to other teams, but a big club like Newcastle doesn't belong in the Championship.

Same with Liverpool, we do decent against big sides, but do awful against the not so good teams.

I still think Newcastle have a chance of staying up.

Arsenal are going to have a big say in the title. We've got to play Man U, Pool and Chelski....

I agree. Just wish Arsneal were in the title race, I miss them TBH when they were an awesome side with Henry, Pires, Bergkamp, Campbell, Viera etc.

Yeah, they were amazing when they had them players. Just changed so quickly.

Did Owen play bad on Saturday?

According to my brother he didn't really do much until Andy Caroll started warming up. Maybe because he was worried he might get taken off?

Anyway, I think Owen is the key to our survival TBH.
