Haha. I don't see the fun in being bitter myself. Most of my mates are and i argue too much with them about it lol. I actually need to calm down.

KeepTheFaith2211 01-17-2009 01:01 AM

Newcastle recently made a bid for M'Bia and Gomis. Kinnear confirmed this two days ago.

Now - M'Bia is not for sale and we have not made a bid for Gomis.

Get it sorted right now lads otherwise we might as well just prepare for a similar downfall to Leeds United!

Looks like that will happen.

Derby Day today :)

JerseyboyUK 01-19-2009 08:39 PM

I'm predicting a 1-0 Everton win. It'l be an early goal, most likely from a set-piece, then they will 'park the bus' for 70+ minutes. Their defence is tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

Hope you're wrong. Liverpool team news on Sky sports now.

Skrtel and Aurelio back. Torres and Keane up front :D

RS8MB0R8 01-19-2009 11:32 PM

Dammit! Jail-bird Gerrard strikes again!

severo17 01-19-2009 11:56 PM

How is the game result?

RS8MB0R8 01-20-2009 12:00 AM

1-1 - great news for everyone... unless you're a Liverpool fan!

1-1.
Poor performance. Skrtel and Hyypia do not work at the back together. Gerrard was just poor apart from his goal. Riera was awful, Torres was decent but should of scored, Keane was poor too.

I do think we were the better side.. just. Saying that, both teams played crap.
Not happy with the result really, now the league has just opened for Man Utd to go even further ahead.

severo17 01-20-2009 12:35 AM

well.. will be better next time to Liverpool.

I'd sooner us of won the game today than win on Sunday.

JerseyboyUK 01-20-2009 02:58 AM

ouch, i reckon Liverpool deserved to have won that one. Everton rarely threatened (especially inside the box). I can see Everton taking great confidence from this game and going on to win the cup match.
And where was Gerrad all game? Especially the first half he was nowhere to be seen, i'd have thought he'd be all fired up for this one!

Oh well, a good result from our perspective, keeps Everton at bay and lets uus get a little bit closer to Liverpool :D
(Although expect us to go flying down the table for the mext few games now that Ashley Young is suspended!!)

Gerrard was terrible. Most of our players were to be honest. If Everton do win the cup game, i won't be too bothered. I just want us to focus on the league and champions league.

Thank f*ck! Common sense has prevailed!

JerseyboyUK 01-20-2009 12:16 PM

I know! Brilliant isn't it?!
I have big respect for Kaka for not just cashing in. And today SkySports says Robinho has walked out of their spanish training camp. it goes from bad to worse! haha!

I totally agree

KeepTheFaith2211 01-20-2009 06:31 PM

I thought it was funny how Kaka rejected the move then the executive of Man City(Not sure what his title is) said that they thought about commercial aspects, fans and the results on the pitch and decided Kaka would not suit them. :p

RS8MB0R8 01-20-2009 06:54 PM

The latest I heard was that Man City are blaming Milan for it falling through and saying they 'bottled it'.

liljovi93 01-20-2009 07:03 PM

I thought it was funny this morning when Sky Sports said "Kaka move fell through, Robinho left Training Camp, but look on the brightside, they've signed Bellamy"
Class!

zero_zero_UFO 01-23-2009 12:34 PM

Well it's Derby derby day :)

Come on you reds! Bring the Brian Clough trophy back where it belongs.

JerseyboyUK 01-23-2009 07:19 PM

I'm at uni in Derby so i'll be backing them :D

liljovi93 01-23-2009 08:13 PM

It's another Merseyside Derby Sunday :)

Yeah. Football is so injust sometimes. We could have got to be in first time. Only us. Now Porto is going to be ahead of us. DAMN!

Yeah, same thing happened with Liverpool.

severo17 01-25-2009 01:05 AM

And what so bad is that Porto won 2-0 to Braga, and one goal of Porto was offside, and there were 3!!! penaltys for Braga that weren't sanctioned by the refferee!

JerseyboyUK 01-28-2009 04:09 PM

my prediction - Arsenal to win 1-0, i'm hoping for a draw though, the further these pair are away from my beloved Villa, the better! :D
