Richie - Solo?

I've heard Richie will release his solo album. I love Richie but I love seeing him in BON JOVI shows way more than seeing him in his shows though I've never gone to his solo tour as the era I was not interested in BJ and I didn't even know his/their activities. I do love his powerful voice and charming smile but I want more BJ shows as early as possible....Does anyone know how long he had been touing for supporting his first solo album?
If he starts his solo tour, I will defenetely go to his show but as I said, I want to see more BJ shows as soon as possilble.

I wouldn't worry about any of that quite yet.

Yes, I think this is all a bit premature - I wouldn't say any of the band are decided about what they're doing yet, at least not publicly.

I would guess that some solo work is most likely, from RS, JBJ or both.

At the moment I'd rather go to a Richie show than a Jovi one. Been listening to some of his bootlegs a lot recently.

Plus I prefer Richie's script to Jon's.

Why the choice of one or the other? Just go to them all :) lol

Personally, I prefer Jon's solo stuff, but band stuff overall.

But wouldn't complain about seeing Richie solo either.

I think it's time for Richie to go out solo don't you think?
I mean the man is almost 50 and has really only had the chance to show of what he's about as a solo touring act twice.
Besides, I'd love to see him in a more intimate venue, pulling out all those solo's he did.

Jon made some great shows on his Destination tour aswell.

As long as there is some activity on the Jovi front, I'm happy. I would really love the chance to see Richie live thougyh.

Richie's been supposedly going to release another solo album for about eight years now, so I wouldn't lose sleep over waiting for another Jovi CD just yet. If we find out he really is planning to release something, then it's time to worry because it'll probably take him another 2 years to finish it.

:-? What's to worry about? If it takes that long, it takes that long. It's already been 10 years, 2 more won't make a difference. I'd rather wait that long for a solo album than have another band album and have to wait even longer for a solo album.

I know you're saying that from the point of view of not being a fan of his solo stuff, so 2 years to do that = 2 years with no new Jovi stuff, but if Richie does an album, Jon's bound to do one in that time too.

Or maybe that's not where you're coming from.

I prefer band stuff too, but if Richie releases a solo record I won't complain :)
